These Terms govern the download, installation, and use of the Vidix desktop application, its associated services, and any materials provided by Vidix Labs, S.L. ("Vidix", "we", "us"). By using the Application, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must uninstall Vidix and cease its use.
You must be 16 years old or the age of majority applicable in your jurisdiction to accept these Terms. Organizations guarantee that the representative who activates the license has sufficient authority to bind them.
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use the Application on compatible macOS devices. You do not acquire any ownership rights over Vidix. It is prohibited to modify, decompile, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Application without our written authorization.
To access premium features, you must register a valid email and associate it with a valid license. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, updating your information, and any activity performed under your account. Vidix may suspend licenses that are used on more devices than allowed or shared without consent.
You agree to use Vidix in accordance with applicable law and these Terms. In particular, it is prohibited to:
You own the prompts, recipes, and results generated through Vidix, subject to the conditions of the AI providers used. You warrant that you have the necessary rights to input such content and hold Vidix harmless from third-party claims arising from its use.
Vidix acts as an intermediary between your instructions and the providers you configure (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Ollama). Each provider applies its own terms, usage policies, and fees, which you must accept separately. Vidix does not control the responses delivered by these services nor guarantee their availability.
Vidix only processes the text or image you choose to send to a provider. Except for anonymized technical metrics, we do not store your prompts or results. API keys are stored encrypted in the macOS keychain. See our Privacy Policy for details about the information we collect and your rights.
Paid licenses are billed according to the current plan (Pro, Team, Enterprise, or others) and applicable taxes. Unless otherwise indicated, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the contracted period. You can cancel renewal from the management panel before the billing date. Third-party fees (e.g., API consumption) are billed directly by each provider.
We offer proportional refunds when there is an unresolved defect that prevents basic use of the Application and you have reported the incident within the first 30 days of the current period. Refunds do not apply for improper use, breach of these Terms, or cancellations outside the indicated period.
We may release automatic updates to improve security, compatibility, and features. Some features may be modified, suspended, or removed during beta. We will attempt to notify you in advance when the impact is significant, whenever technically feasible.
Vidix, its logo, documentation, and all related source code are the property of Vidix Labs, S.L. or its licensors. No implied rights or licenses are granted over trademarks, patents, or trade secrets. Any feedback or suggestions you send may be freely used to improve the Application.
The Application is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vidix disclaims express or implied warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and error-free operation.
Under no circumstances shall Vidix be liable for lost profits, opportunities, data, or indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Application. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the license in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vidix, its directors, and collaborators from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from misuse of the Application, breach of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.
We may suspend or revoke your access if you breach these Terms, if we detect fraud or abusive use, or when required by law. You may stop using Vidix at any time by uninstalling the Application and revoking accessibility permissions. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations already incurred.
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, functional, or commercial changes. We will notify you of relevant modifications through the Application, website, or email. Continued use of Vidix after the effective date will imply your acceptance of the new conditions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain, without prejudice to other mandatory rules that may apply. Disputes will be resolved by the courts and tribunals of Barcelona (Spain), unless the law allows another mandatory jurisdiction for consumers.
